Newport News,VI : Suffolk multi-vehicle crash kills two, injures three on June, Sunday 25th 2017
Two men died after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident near Godwin Bridge Sunday afternoon, according to a news release from Suffolk police spokeswoman Diana Klink.
The four-vehicle crash happened in the 2200 block of Bridge Road, by Godwin Bridge, about 3 p.m., Klink said. Three cars and a pick-up truck were involved, she said.The men have been identified as Paul Shinabery, 57, of Smithfield and Donald Mohorn, 56, of Hampton, according to Klink.
Three others, two men and a woman, were injured as a result of the crash, she said. Two are in serious condition, and the other is in critical condition, she said.
The accident's cause remains under investigation, she said.
Godwin Bridge was closed to traffic for about six hours, she said.
