Macy, NE : 50-year-old Angelo Freemont killed and two injured in rollover crash on Highway 75 in northeastern Nebraska on Friday, March 6, 2015

The driver was killed and two passengers were injured in a rollover car accident on the Omaha Reservation about midnight Friday, the Nebraska State Patrol said.

Angelo Freemont, 50, was driving just west of Highway 75 near the border of Burt and Thurston counties when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled over into a ditch, the State Patrol said.

Neither Freemont nor the unidentified passengers were wearing seat belts, the patrol said. The two passengers, men in their mid- to late 40s, suffered minor injuries.

The State Patrol is still investigating what caused Freemont to lose control of the vehicle.
