Augusta, GA : A Harlem woman died in a single-vehicle wreck on May, Sunday, 21st 2017

A Harlem woman died in a single-vehicle wreck Sunday morning on Harlem-Grovetown Road.

Frankie C. Rolland, 69, lost control of her 2003 Toyota Sequoia while negotiating a curve, causing the vehicle to run off the road, according to Maj. Steve Morris of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver over-corrected, and the vehicle crossed the road and ran off the other side, where it struck an embankment and came to rest on its roof, Morris said in a statement.

Deputies responded just before 7 a.m. Rolland was pronounced dead at the scene.
