West Palm Beach, FL : Boy, 4, dies after accidentally hanging himself on Saturday, March 18th 2017

A 4-year-old boy died Saturday after he accidentally hanged himself at a Minnesota thrift store, according to multiple reports.Police said they were called around 5:40 p.m. Saturday to Again Thrift & More in Mankato for a medical call involving a 4-year-old. Medics took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No foul play is suspected in the boy’s death.

The boy was identified in an online fundraiser aimed at raising money to cover his funeral expenses as Ryu S. Pena, according to the Star Tribune.

Police Cmdr. Daniel Schisel told the Minneapolis newspaper that Ryu “apparently got the hooded sweatshirt he was wearing caught on a hanger attached to the wall.”
