Brentwood, TN : Two people suffered minor injuries after a driver ran a car into a gas station on Saturday June 29th 2014.

Two people suffered minor injuries after a driver ran a car into a gas station in Brentwood.

The incident happened at 5:30 p.m. at the Mapco Mart on Moores Lane Saturday.Brentwood officials told News 2 the driver of a Chevrolet Cobalt drove the vehicle through the front doors of the business and partially into the building.

A gas station clerk was taken to Saint Thomas-West Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.The driver, who had minor injuries, was treated at Williamson Medical Center.

Officials said the business was heavily damaged and the structural integrity of the building was evaluated before the vehicle was moved.
