Man killed in fiery crash in Burlington Vermont

A 57-year-old Albany man died after his car collided with tractor trailer on U.S. 5 in Coventry at about 10:10 a.m. Monday, and the big rig erupted in flames, according to the Vermont State Police.A 1999 Saab driven by Timothy J. Harrington crossed the center line into the path of a Western Star tractor trailer driven by Kevin Barrup, 48, of Derby, police said. Harrington was pronounced dead at the scene. Barrup received minor injuries and was taken to North Country Hospital.
