CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO : 1 injured in crash involving motorcycle on Mt. Auburn Rd. in Cape Girardeau on Monday, 11th September 2023

A man died in a Monday morning crash involving a car and a motorcycle.

According to Cape Girardeau police, 56-year-old James Randol was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

On Monday, September 11 around 7:15 a.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of North Mount Auburn for a two-vehicle crash.

They say a 2019 Dodge Charger was going east on the private drive behind McDonald’s and tried to turn left to go north on Mount Auburn as a 2002 Kawasaki motorcycle was going south on Mount Auburn from Kingshighway.
