Southampton, N.J : Teen dies after ATV crash in Burlington County on Saturday, April 1, 2017

Authorities say a 14-year-old boy has died and two others were injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident on Saturday.

New Jersey State Police say Nicholas Cunningham was riding an ATV in the area of West Patty Bowker and Friendship roads around 3 p.m. Saturday with a passenger. Cunningham lost control of his vehicle and struck a second ATV driven by another 14-year-old boy, according to state police.

State police said Cunningham was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger and the other driver were taken to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden with non-life-threatening injuries. None of the three involved in the accident were wearing helmets, they said.
