ATLANTA, GA : Lanes reopen on I-285 North in DeKalb County after crash involving tanker truck on Monday, 11th March 2024

All lanes of I-285 in DeKalb County have reopened after a crash involving a tanker truck had them blocked during the Monday evening commute.

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), the crash happened on I-285 North before I-20 around 3:51 p.m.

First Alert Chopper over the scene captured what appeared to be a hazmat crew working to clean up a spill after the tanker was hit by a tractor-trailer from behind.

Officials said the tanker truck was carrying a container of hazardous pesticide.
