WOBURN, MA : 1 dead after head-on crash in Woburn on Wednesday, 31st July 2019

One man is dead Wednesday after a head-on crash in Woburn, according to police.

The crash happened on Cambridge Road. From Sky 5 two vehicles with heavy front-end damage could be seen in the roadway.Police think the driver of a navy blue Honda Accord may have had a heart attack before crossing over the center line, hitting a Cadillac head-on.

It appears first responders removed the roof of the Honda to remove the driver. He later died, officials said.

The driver of the Cadillac as also taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

A short distance away, a FedEx tractor-trailer hit a telephone pole and tore down utility wires, apparently while trying to make a U-turn to avoid the crash.
