Fort Wright, KY : Two people injured in NB I-71/75 crash at Kyles Lane on Friday morning, May 13, 2016

A rollover crash is slowing the morning commute on northbound Interstate 71/75 at the Kyles Lane exit Friday morning.

A vehicle flipped over just after 6 a.m., closing the highway for about a half hour.

The right lane reopened, but traffic was backed up for miles most of the morning commute.

The highway reopened shortly after 7:30 a.m.

Crews confirmed at least one person was trapped in a vehicle.

AirCare was asked to respond and then canceled.

Two people were taken in ambulances to hospitals: St. Elizabeth in Edgewood and St. Elizabeth in Covington, dispatchers said.

Several emergency vehicles remain on scene while crews work to tow the flipped car.

Detour by taking westbound I-275 to northbound I-471 or Dixie Highway.
