Gaston County, NC : Mark Taylor, 32, killed in single-vehicle crash on Dallas Stanley Highway in Gaston County on Friday morning, November 14, 2014

One person was killed in a car crash early Friday morning in Gaston County, according to medical officials. Police say 32-year-old Mark Taylor died in an accident on Dallas Stanley Highway near the intersection of Evans Lake Road. The single-car crash knocked down a power pole and Dallas Stanley Highway is closed in both directions, according to officials. Police did not say how the accident happened.
