Union County, N.C : 2 Injured in Union County crash on Tuesday, May 27, 2014

Two people were injured in a vehicle accident in Union County Tuesday.

The wreck was reported around 4 p.m. on Lancaster Highway near McWhorter Road.

Troopers confirmed to WBTV that two people were taken to an area hospital from the scene, and are expected to be okay.

Officials have not said what may have caused the crash, or if any charges are being filed.
