Oakland, CA : Woman injured after being struck by hit-and-run driver, bus in North Oakland on Friday night, April 17, 2015

A 25-year-old woman struck by a hit-and-run driver and then by an AC Transit bus Friday night in North Oakland remained in critical condition Tuesday with internal and other injuries, authorities said.

The Oakland woman's name was not released.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the SUV driver who first hit her and continued on without stopping.

The woman, an Oakland resident, was initially hit about 11:53 p.m. Friday by a blue Land Cruiser as she walked in the northbound lanes of the 3500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

She was lying in the roadway when she was struck by an AC Transit bus going southbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Way, police said. The bus remained at the scene.

Police did not release a description of the SUV driver.
