Whitley County, IN : 3 hurt, 1 critically, in Whitley County rollover crash on Monday, 9th December, 2019

Three people were injured, one of them critically, when a vehicle left the road and rolled over early Monday on U.S. 33 in Whitley County.

The sheriff's department was called at 2:39 a.m. to U.S. 33 near County Road 700 North. Mohmad Nasir Jatala, 28, of Osceola, was driving northwest on U.S. 33 when the vehicle he was driving went left of center, left the road and rolled over multiple times, police said.

Jatala was thrown from the vehicle and rushed to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne in critical condition.

Two passengers also were taken to the hospital. David Melendez, 54, of Mishawaka, was seriously injured and Amanda Conard, 32, of Mishawaka, had minor injuries, police said.
