Tulsa,OK : Fatality reported in motorcycle-car crash near Chandler Park on may, sunday 14th 2017

Authorities said a person died in a crash involving a motorcycle and a car in west Tulsa.

The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the 6800 block of Avery Drive, near Chandler Park.

The collision occurred when the motorcyclist traveling east on Avery Drive crossed the center line and struck an oncoming car, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper said.

Authorities at the scene said a person died in the crash, but did not provide additional details, pending notification of next-of-kin.
