Brunswick County ,NC : 31 - ears old Kenneth Paul Minnillo killed and another injured after Single vehicle wreck along Hwy 211 on Saturday ,May 16th 2015

suffered in a single-vehicle wreck on Highway 211. It happened near River Sea Boulevard in Brunswick County on Saturday morning, according to Sgt. Harris with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Harris said that the driver of the vehicle, Kenneth Paul Minnillo, was deceased when crews got to the scene arrived. Dispatchers said the emergency call about the accident came in at 9:48 a.m.

Traveling west on 211, the vehicle drifted left of center and struck a concrete pole. The vehicle's passengers were both children, a nine-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy. The girl was airlifted to the hospital. While the children were injured, troopers said their injuries were non life-threatening.

Minnillo was 31-years-old and from Oak Island.

Emergency crews from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Supply Fire Department, Civietown Fire Department, Brunswick County Emergency Services, Brunswick County EMS and AirLink helicopter all responded to the scene.
