PARRISH, FL : Crash in Manatee County leaves 1 person dead, 3 injured on Thursday, 22nd February 2024

A woman died and four people were hurt in a crash Thursday morning in Manatee County, authorities said.

It happened around 6:35 a.m. at the intersection of State Road 62 and Saffold Road, according to a Florida Highway Patrol crash report.

Troopers say a van was heading west on State Road 62 approaching the intersection. At the same time, a truck made a left turn from Saffold Road onto the highway and traveled into the path of the van.
