Lehigh County, PA : 21-year-old Emmaus man killed in a motorcycle crash in Lower Milford Township on Monday morning, May 11, 2015

A man died early Monday morning after crashing a speeding motorcycle in Lower Milford Township, Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville report.

At 3:45, the rider lost control of the eastbound 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 600 on Limeport Pike just east of Elementary Road, police said. The bike crossed into the westbound lane and then onto the north side of the road as the rider was thrown off, police said. The bike and rider continued east for 350 feet before coming to a rest in the 3100 block of Limeport Pike, police said. The bike hit a tree and broke in two, police said.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lehigh County Coroner's Office, police said. The coroner's office later Monday morning was attempting to make contact with the rider's nest of kin. The rider was a 21-year-old man from Emmaus and there won't be an autopsy, Coroner Scott Grim said. The man died from blunt-force trauma and the man's death was ruled any accident, Grim said.

The Lower Milford Township Fire Department, the Upper Saucon Ambulance Corps and Detwelers Auto assisted at the scene, police said.
