Both seat-belted drivers killed in head-on crash in in Marquette County along Highway 23 on Tuesday , February 10th 2015

The Marquette County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a report of a crash on Highway 23 east of 11th Road in Packwaukee at 2 p.m.

The sheriff's office said a vehicle driven by 69-year-old Janet White, of Green Lake, Wisconsin, was headed east on Highway 23 when it crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Natalie Rosanske of Westfield, Wisconsin.

Both drivers were flown by Med Flight to UW Hospital but succumbed to their injuries, according to the report.

White and Rosanske were both wearing seat belts and the airbags in both vehicles deployed, the sheriff's department said.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Wisconsin State Patrol, Marquette County EMS and Montello and Oxford fire and rescue.

The crash Tuesday was Marquette County’s first fatal wreck of 2015, the sheriff's office said.
