A 48-year-old pedestrian was found dead Wednesday, Nov. 4, in what San Bernardino police said they believe was a hit-and-run collision.
About 4:10 a.m., an officer came across a body on Mt. Vernon Avenue near 6th Street that appeared to have been struck by several vehicles, none of which stopped as required by law.
The pedestrian, whose name was not publicly announced, was a San Bernardino resident, a news release said.
Police said they had no information on any possible suspects. They ask anyone with information on the case to call Detective Dan Acosta or Sgt. Jeff Harvey at 909-384-5792.
