Jefferson County, WV : Two airlifted for treatment after U.S. 340 crash on Thursday, 21st November, 2019

Two people were airlifted for medical treatment Wednesday afternoon after a crash on U.S. 340, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department said Thursday.

The 3:45 p.m. crash near Clarke County, Va., was reported as involving two vehicles with rollover and entrapment, according to a sheriff’s department news release.

The driver of each vehicle, identified as Jefferson County resident Karen See and Virginia resident Troy Holmes, were flown out for treatment, but were expected to survive, the release said.

A child in See’s minivan was taken by grandparents to Jefferson Medical Center and found to be uninjured, according to the release.
