Tallahassee, FL : Bicyclist killed in Greenacres crash ID's as 60-year-old on Saturday, 10th September 2016

A 60-year-old man on a bike who was struck and killed by a car while riding on Melaleuca Lane Saturday night has been identified by authorities as Gerald Lyman of Greenacres.

The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. at Melalueca Lane and Jog Road, Palm Beach County Sheriff's officials reported Sunday morning. Lyman was headed east and struck by an oncoming westbound Nissan. Lyman died at the scene. The Nissan's driver, Nicole L. Betman, also of Greenacres, was not injured.
