LEBANON COUNTY, PA : Crash involving 2 tractor-trailers leaves moss covering road, sends 1 to hospital on Thursday, 1st August 2024

A crash involving two tractor-trailers shut down a stretch of I-81 in Lebanon County Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 4:11 a.m., emergency dispatchers said. As a result, southbound lanes are closed between Exit 100: PA 443 - Pine Grove and Exit 90: PA 72 - Lebanon, according to PennDOT's 511PA.

Crews are currently trying to open a shoulder to clear two miles of trapped traffic, PennDOT said.
