An accident in southeast Albuquerque has claimed the life of a pedestrian.

Police say the unidentified female was struck Thursday night on Louisiana Boulevard and Kathryn Avenue.

According to police, the accident didn't appear to be caused by speed or driver impairment.

Age and identity of the pedestrian weren't immediately released.
