Santa Rosa County, FL : Milton man dies in triple-vehicle accident at North Airport Road and U.S. 90 on Thursday, 12th September 2019

A 33-year-old Milton man died Thursday evening in a triple-vehicle accident at North Airport Road and U.S. 90 in Santa Rosa County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
Herbert K. Bowman, 21, of Milton, was stopped facing southbound on North Airport Road at the stop sign in a 2015 Hyundai Genesis at approximately 5:49 p.m. Travis Mimms, 33, of Milton was travelling eastbound on U.S. 90 in a 2007 Honda motorcycle. At the same time, 29-year-old Raymond Carroll of Milton was stopped at the stop sign facing northbound on South Airport Road in a 2011 Nissan Altima.
Bowman entered the intersection traveling southbound, into the path of Mimms. This action caused the front of the motorcycle to strike the passenger side of the Genesis, which then struck the driver’s side of the Altima before coming to a final rest.
Mimms, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead.
There were no other reported injuries.
