Seattle, WA : Elderly woman dies in a collision with a bus near Northgate Mall in Seattle on Thursday, December 3, 2015

Authorities say a woman has died in a collision with a bus near a Seattle mall.

Seattle Police say they received reports just after 3 p.m. Thursday that a King County Metro Transit bus had collided with a woman at the Northgate Transit Center. Police believe she was in her 90s.

Seattle Fire Department medics arrived at the scene near Northgate Mall and said the woman suffered fatal injuries.

Seattle police say they tested the bus driver and found no obvious signs of impairment.

Police traffic collision investigators are reviewing what happened and working to identify the woman.

Officers have closed Northeast 100th Street in the area and the transit center while they investigate.
