Cumberland,MD :Three hurt in downtown crash on Tuesday, 8th May 2018
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash late Tuesday morning at the heavily-traveled Baltimore Street and Queen City Drive intersection, Cumberland police said.
Cumberland Police said Nancy Llewellyn, 59, was charged with failure to yield the right of way and negligent driving following the 11:26 a.m. crash. Her 2004 Hyundai reportedly struck a 2013 Jeep driven by Jeffrey Johnson, 46, also of Cumberland.
All three patients, one of whom who was trapped in the Hyundai, were taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center by Cumberland Fire Department ambulances. Firefighters worked at least 20 minutes to extricate the trapped patient.
None of the injuries were life-threatening, police said.
