Lauderdale County, AL : 72-year-old woman killed after hit by vehicle in Lauderdale County on Tuesday, 15th October 2024

A single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred Tuesday has claimed the life of a Florence woman, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The pedestrian, 72-year-old Joyce Mansell, was fatally injured when she was struck in the roadway by a 1996 Toyota 4Runner.

ALEA says Mansell was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
