HARTFORD, CT : Hartford police cruiser involved in rollover crash on Friday, 13th September 2024

A Hartford police cruiser was involved in a crash Friday.

Police say officers attempted to stop a stolen U-Haul with a reported female passenger yelling for help.

A witness described seeing the stolen U-Haul speeding down Main Street before it crashed into multiple other vehicles in the area of Main Street and Capitol Avenue.

While responding, an officer was involved in a rollover crash.
