CONCORD, NH : Icy roads lead to fatal crash, spinouts in New Hampshire on Monday, November 21st 2016
The first snow of the season for much of New Hampshire caused numerous spinouts and accidents, including two fatal crashes.
That a Dover man was killed on Route 4 in Durham when his car crossed into the path of a tanker truck Monday morning. Authorities say the road was covered in black ice. They have not released the victim’s name.
In Dover, state police say 43-year-old Olha Monaco of Somersworth died when the small truck she was driving went off the Spaulding Turnpike, struck a guardrail and overturned.
Elsewhere, crews responded to accidents on most major highways throughout the morning, including I-93, I-89, and Route 101.
Light snow was forecast for parts of the state into Monday afternoon.
