Beatrice, NE : No serious injuries were reported in a wreck on Tuesday, July 25, 2017

No serious injuries were reported in a wreck that shut down a portion of U.S. 77 for several hours Tuesday morning.

Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner said a southbound vehicle was stopped preparing to turn eastbound onto Old Cheney Road when a UPS truck rear-ended the vehicle. That collision caused both vehicles to go into the northbound traffic lanes of U.S. 77, where they hit two oncoming cars.

Wagner said one person was trapped, but others involved in the wreck helped get him out and no one was seriously injured.
