Gove County, KS: 2 hospitalized after I-70 crash in Gove County on Sunday, July 19th 2015
Two men were injured in an accident just after 3 p.m. on Sunday in Gove County.The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Charles D. Andrews, Jr., 57, Stroud, OK., was eastbound on Interstate 70 ten miles west of Oakley.The driver lost control and traveled into the median.A 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by John W. Stajcar, 52, Grain Valley, Mo., was following Andrews. The driver applied breaks in an avoidance maneuver and went left crashing into the median.Andrews, Jr. and Stajcar were transported to Logan County Hospital. They were both wearing helmets according to the KHP.
