Baltimore, MD : Man injured in crash on Baltimore Washington Parkway on Thursday morning, Oct 29, 2015

A man was seriously injured early Thursday morning in a crash on the Baltimore Washington Parkway.

Anne Arundel County fire department spokesman Capt. Russ Davies said the crash occurred shortly after midnight on the northbound Parkway near Route 100 east.

The driver and lone occupant of a vehicle that had been rear-ended, identified only as a 20-year-old man, was transported by paramedics to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious injuries, Davies said.

There were no other injuries requiring hospital transport.
