A rural Auburn woman suffered a hand abrasion in a one-vehicle crash Sunday at 3:19 a.m, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department reported. A DeKalb EMS ambulance took Mariah C. Hamman, 23, of C.R. 28, to DeKalb Health in Auburn for treatment. Police said Hamman was driving a 2006 Subaru Forester northbound on C.R. 19 when she lost control. The vehicle went into the ditch on the right side of the roadway before coming back onto the road and crossing into the west ditch. The vehicle then rolled, landing in the driveway of 3062 C.R. 19. A police report said alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident. Along with DeKalb EMS, the Waterloo Marshal’s Department, Corunna Fire Department and Jeff’s Towing assisted county police.
