BOONE COUNTY, IA : School bus crash in Boone County on Saturday, July 15, 2017

Authorities in Boone County are investigation a crash that injured multiple people, including several children on a school bus.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. Saturday along Highway 30 near B Avenue when the school bus driver failed to yield to the right, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said the bus driver, seven children and the driver of the other car were hurt.

Those involved in the crash suffered mostly cuts, a few concussions and other nonlife-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
