NASHVILLE, TN : SUV crashes into Oak Hill home on Wednesday, 2nd January 2019

A driver was hospitalized after crashing an SUV into a home in the Oak Hill neighborhood.

The crash happened just after 1 a.m. along Lambert Drive.

Metro police said the driver failed to stop at a “T” stop in the road, went through a yard and crashed into the home.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a leg injury.

First responders on the scene told News 2 had the SUV hit just a few feet to the left, it would have hit a bed where people were sleeping.

No additional information was immediately released.
