Seneca,SC : Woman charged after Oconee Co. chase ends in crash on January, Wednesday 16th 2018
An SC Highway Patrol trooper was involved in a chase that led to a crash in Oconee County, the Sheriff's Office said.
Officials with the Oconee County Sheriff's Office say dispatchers informed them that a trooper was pursing a vehicle that was reportedly speeding on Seneca Creek Road Tuesday evening. That vehicle then was involved in a collision, per the Sheriff's Office.
On Wednesday morning, troopers said the driver involved in the chase had been charged.
Troopers said Caitlyn Lefevre was charged with failure to stop for blue lights and possession of a controlled substance. She was also ticketed for driving more than 25 mph over the speed limit, according to Oconee County jail records.
