Clermont County, OH : Alcohol suspected in fatal Clermont County crash on Half Acre Road near Oak Tree Lane on Saturday morning, November 29, 2014
Alcohol is a suspected factor in a crash that killed one person overnight in Williamsburg Township, police say.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. Saturday morning on Half Acre Road near Oak Tree Lane.
According to police, Donald Carter, 35, was driving on Half Acre Road when he ran off the left side of the road hitting a mailbox, utility pole and tree. After hitting the tree, the car overturned, striking a fence and a house.
Scott Brown and Matthew Milton, both 35, were passengers in the car.
Carter was transported by AirCare to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, authorities say.
Brown was transported to UC hospital by ambulance.
Milton was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clermont County Coroner.
Police say alcohol is a suspected factor in the crash.
The Ohio State Patrol is investigating the wreck.
