Bettendorf, IA : 3 injured when Maquoketa woman crashes on I-80 on Monday morning, April 10, 2017

Authorities said three people were injured Monday morning when a Maquoketa woman crashed her vehicle on Interstate 80.

The Iowa State Patrol has not released the names of those injured as of Monday night, as they wait for family to be notified.

The crash occurred at about 6:15 a.m. Monday on the interstate at mile marker 305, near Bettendorf. An ISP report states Ebony Sims, 31, of Maquoketa, was driving west on the interstate when she lost control of her vehicle, which entered the north ditch. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Three people, apparently passengers in the vehicle, were injured, according to ISP. One person was transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Two people were transported to Genesis Medical Center in Davenport.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
