OAKLAND, CA : Two Oakland police officers hospitalized in crash on Monday, September 25th 2017

Two Oakland police officers and a third person remained in stable condition Monday after an overnight crash sent all three to the hospital, police said.The officers were on westbound International Boulevard en route to a traffic stop tied to a possible shooting with its lights on and sirens blaring when the crash happened around 3:45 a.m., Oakland police spokeswoman Officer Johnna Watson said. They collided at the intersection with another vehicle going southbound on High Street.

The two officers and the driver of the other vehicle all were taken by ambulance to a hospital. None of the three injuries were believed to be life-threatening.

Two other parked vehicles also were hit after the crash, but they were unoccupied, Watson said.
