Tulsa, OK : Woman dies in Catoosa crash early Friday September 16 2016

A woman died after crashing into a utility pole in Catoosa early Friday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred on 193rd East Avenue near Fourth Street around 4 a.m.
Catoosa Police Lt. Andrew Wimberly said the woman's vehicle departed the right side of the roadway for unknown reasons and crossed through several driveways before hitting an embankment and crashing end-over-end into a utility pole.
Officers investigated the scene for most of the morning, closing off 193rd East Avenue in both directions. The vehicle was towed around 7 a.m. after being removed from the ruined utility pole.
Police have identified the victim and contacted her family, but Wimberly said they are waiting to release her name to the public.
