ASCENSION PARISH, LA : LSP Opelousas man killed in Ascension Parish crash on Sunday, 21st July 2024

An Opelousas man is dead after an early morning crash in Ascension Parish.

Louisiana State Police Troop A confirmed it happened on LA 70 at Panama Road around 6 a.m. and involved two vehicles.

LA 70 was temporarily closed in both directions as troopers worked the scene; however, LA 70 has since re-opened.
