Elderly couple dies hand in hand in Washington car crash
An elderly couple, married for decades, died together in a Washington car crash with their hands clasped together, according to police.
Floyd and Margaret Nordhagen were on their way to buy cat food Sunday, as they cared for several animals, friends told KHQ-TV in Spokane. As they pulled out of the store's parking lot, they collided with an oncoming pickup truck and were killed, according to State Police.Floyd, 92, and Margaret, 88, were married for 68 years, reports NBCNews.com. They are survived by their four children, 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
