NITRO, WV : One person taken to the hospital after crash on I-64 near Nitro on Tuesday, 19th December 2023

One person was taken to the hospital after an accident on I-64 in Nitro.

The accident happened in the west bound lanes, by the Nitro Entrance ramp, shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Dispatchers said it appears that one car hit the back of another car.

Dispatchers said that one person was transported to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries was not known.
