Meridian, ID : Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on Tuesday, July 15, 2014
A motorcyclist suffered possible life-threatening injuries in a crash on Ten Mile Road.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office says the 41-year-old motorcyclist tried to pass a car in front of him but pulled into the path of a pick up truck. The man tried to go between the car and truck but hit both before hitting the ground.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, however, it popped off during the crash
The driver of a truck who collided with the motorcyclist, suffered an arm injury, but a family member took him to the hospital.
The portion of Ten Mile Road where the crash occurred was closed for more than an hour. Both lanes were reopened to traffic around 10 a.m.
The crash is still under investigation. No citations had been issued as of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
