Hutchinson, KS : Almena woman injured after rollover crash in Norton County on Saturday morning, November 5, 2016

An Almena woman was sent to the hospital, but her 1-year-old passenger was not hurt, after rolling her vehicle in Norton County on Saturday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Charissa J. Simoneau, 27, Almena, was heading south on K-60, about 1.5 miles southeast of Almena, in a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox when her vehicle went left of center and entered the east ditch. She then corrected her vehicle onto the road. Her vehicle began to skid, crossing over the center line again, entering the east ditch a second time and rolling over.

She was sent to Norton County Hospital for injuries around 10:12 a.m. Her one-year-old passenger, Amora T. Simoneau, also of Almena, was not hurt.

Both were wearing the proper safety restraints.
