Knoxville, TN : Motorcyclist dies in West Knox County crash Saturday night on July 5, 2014

A Knoxville man was killed on his motorcycle when his bike crossed over into the wrong lane and hit a pick-up truck head-on.

According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office the wreck happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night at 3133 Swafford Road in West Knox County.

The motorcyclist was riding a 1994 Harley and died on the scene.

The driver of the of the 1998 Ford pick-up truck was not injured.

The name of the victim will be released when relatives have been notified.
