OMAHA, NE : Man in custody after crash, confrontation with police near Aksarben Village near 64th Street and West Center Road on Friday, 11th January 2019

A man involved in a traffic accident and subsequent confrontation with police is now in custody.


The incident happened Friday morning near 64th Street and West Center Road.

A vehicle rolled, and a man, reportedly involved in a domestic dispute, got up on the side of the vehicle.

The ensuing standoff shut down traffic in the area.

The man was taken into custody shortly after 11 a.m.
