Las Vegas, NV : 12-year-old Child injured in hit-and-run crash near Lake Mead Boulevard and Rancho Drive on Wednesday morning, February 4, 2015

A child was taken to the hospital with a minor arm injury this morning after a hit-and-run accident, Metro Police said.

The incident was reported at 7:22 a.m. after the 12-year-old was struck by a car while crossing the street near Lake Mead Boulevard and Rancho Drive, police said. Police were searching for the driver, who left the scene, police said.

No vehicle description was available.
